She has spent hundreds of hours doing aerial surveys of eagles from fixed-wing planes and 6,000 hours of bald eagle observation from the ground.

Charlotte has also worked with the Coast Guard, utility companies, and cell phone carriers to help them maintain their equipment while protecting ospreys during their nesting season. Charlotte has helped landowners use their land while following the Endangered Species Act, Bald and Golden Eagle Act, and Migratory Bird Treaty Act regulations.

Outside of her work with raptors, Charlotte has experience with American alligators, marine mammals, wood storks, gopher tortoises, and wading, shore, and sea birds.
